In 2007, it purchased A&P’s Southern Division and its 17 Sav-A-Center stores. In 2008, it added two additional stores in Mississippi.

Through this online shopping service, customers can choose the date and time of delivery, as well as note their preferences.

After Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana, Rouses Markets has been proactive in helping the region recover. It has set up a Disaster Relief Fund for employees, which grew to more than $200,000 thanks to the generosity of customers. Rouses Markets in the Bayou Region have provided hot food and water free of charge to storm victims, as well as meals for first responders.
